EP1 of the “Over the Mountain” series starts here. I leave Dumaguete City and begin the climb into the highlands of Negros Oriental on my Honda XR150L. This is the early part of the ride — smooth paved roads, rising elevation, and the feeling of leaving the coast behind as the mountains slowly take over. This is not the full adventure yet… just the beginning of the climb.
