I Own a Horse Riding Stable But Can’t Ride

Welcome back to Wairi’s World! Here’s something that may surprise you: I co-own Xina Horse Riding School in Nairobi, but I’ve never properly learned how to ride a horse. Sure, I’ve been on horses before, but understanding correct posture, balance, communication with the horse, and the fundamentals of riding? That’s a journey I’ve only just begun. In this episode, I step out of my comfort zone and become a student once again. Under the guidance of trainer Sam and with the patient and dependable Lily as my partner, I take my first serious riding lesson and discover that learning as an adult comes with its own unique lessons. This experience reminded me that there is real value in being a beginner. It takes humility to listen, accept feedback, and improve. As a business owner, it was also an opportunity to experience our services from the client’s perspective and better understand what our students go through every day. Join me as I navigate the joys, nerves, laughs, and lessons of getting back in the saddle. If you’ve ever been afraid to start something new, this episode is for you. 📍 Xina Horse Riding School, Ridgeways, Nairobi, Kenya Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and follow along as we explore entrepreneurship, family life, adventure, and personal growth—one episode at a time. #WairisWorld #HorseRiding #XinaHorseRidingSchool #Nairobi #Kenya #LifelongLearning #BeginnerJourney #WomenInBusiness #EquestrianLife #horseridinglessons
