Among them are the following: First: Their bid'ah practices are rejected. Second: Bid'ah is a deviation. Third: Those who do bid'ah find it difficult to repent. Fourth: They are prevented from following the Prophet's path. Fifth: Bid'ah is a sin. Sixth: They incur ongoing sins. Seventh: The spread of bid'ah is a sign of the end times. Eighth: They are considered to be outside the ranks of the Prophet. Ninth: Bid'ah corrupts the heart. Tenth: It destroys the Sunnah and distances them from it. Bid'ah in religion is something that is prohibited by Allah and His Messenger. Bid'ah here refers to religious practices that are not guided by Sharia. Imam Asy-Syathibi (died 790 H) explained the definition of bid'ah as follows: God willing God willing "Bid'ah is a religious procedure that is invented, resembling the Shari'a, carried out with the intention of exaggerating the worship of Allah Subhanah." (Al-I’tisham, 1/37) Innovation in religion is not only forbidden but also carries dangers for its practitioners. These include the following: First: The practice of innovation is rejected. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever introduces a new matter into this matter of ours (religious affairs) that has no basis, it will be rejected.” (Narrated by Bukhari no. 2697 and Muslim no. 1718) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Whoever does a deed that is not from us, it will be rejected.” (HR.
