Parade of the Bunka Bunsei Times Festival in Japan 🇯🇵 Back in NAKASENDO | I lost my cash!

Have you ever joined a matsuri (ie festival) in Japan? This is my first time too and it was fun, vibrant, and still orderly! Let me take you to the Parade of the Bunka Bunsei Times of the Edo Period Festival in Tsumago-juku, a post-town along the legendary ancient highway, the Nakasendo. This festival is also known as Labor Thanksgiving Festival as it commemorates the start of the preservation of this post-town. Tsumago-juku is located in a remote area and if you're planning to hike the Nakasendo, the Tsumago-juku to Magome-juku (another post-town but located in Gifu Prefecture) or Magome-juku to Tsumago-juku route is pretty popular. Staying in either post-towns can be a challenge as the inns are hard to book. Planning to spend a night in Tsumago?
