On the fifth day, I headed to Fangliao, Pingtung. I admired the stunning blue scenery of Xuhai and experienced the vast freedom of Longpan Grassland. After enjoying a relaxing dinner in Hengchun at sunset, I was originally preparing to head to my guesthouse in Fangliao, but on the dark Ping’e Highway that night, I encountered an elderly man walking alone by the roadside. DAY 5｜Taitung Zhiben → Fangliao, Pingtung　202.5 km ⭐️ Additional Info This 31-year-old classic scooter underwent a full restoration and maintenance before the trip. Regardless of the vehicle, I highly recommend getting a thorough check-up before any long-distance ride. It definitely brings more peace of mind.
