We should've done this YEARS ago!
DeleteMe Link: https://joindeleteme.com/PINES Enter Promo code: PINES Last summer hit when we were about 2/3 done with the electrical, and that was precisely when we abandoned the entire basement project and moved outside for the duration. This week, we finally finished it up, had it inspected and passed, so now it's officially time to cover up all that hard work. The basement is already the warmest place in the house in the winter time, so we hmm'd and haa'd on whether or not to even add more insulation, but ultimately we decided to go for it. Now that it's (mostly) done, we're so glad we did it. We don't even want to think about how much money we've wasted on heat escaping through the rim joists all these years. But the plus side is that it's SO QUIET down there now, and I think we're ready for... dare I say... the dreaded drywall. But how bad can it be... right?
