Apple pie recipe (forget about charlotte) Tender, moist, with a crispy caramel crust and a cinnamon aroma ⸻ 🧈 Ingredients for a 20-24 cm pan Dough: • Butter - 110 g • Sugar - 120 g • Eggs - 2 pcs • Vanilla sugar - 10 g • Wheat flour - 240 g • Baking powder - 8 g • Baking soda - ¼ tsp • Pinch of salt • Yogurt or kefir - 150 ml Apples with cinnamon: • Apples - 5-6 (small) • Sugar - 20 g • Ground cinnamon - 4 g Topping ("swirl"): • Brown sugar - 60 g • Cinnamon - 5 g ⸻ 🍏 Directions 1. Apples: Cut into cubes or slices, drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, and mix. 2. Dough: Melt and cool the butter, mix with sugar and vanilla sugar, and whisk. Add the eggs one at a time, then the yogurt and mix. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine the dry and wet ingredients to form a medium-thick dough. 3. Assembly: Grease a 20–24 cm or 20x25 cm rectangular pan with butter or line it with parchment paper. Spread half the dough, sprinkle with half the topping, add the apples, then the remaining dough and the remaining topping. 4. Baking: Bake at 175°C for about 50–70 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. 5.
