Securing production with network polices - What can possible go wrong? - Simon Pearce

Network polices are a crucial security layer and essential for defining access policies for communication between pods. During my session you will learn how and why you should use network polices. I will give you an overview of currently available options to secure your pod network traffic. I will also demonstrate how to use regular network polices, cluster wide polices and host polices. During the demo we will focus on implementing polices to a running cluster. Showcasing software like Cilium and Hubble which can be extremely helpful in visualising cluster traffic. This talk should help you demystify network polices and give you some great arguments to get started with securing your production cluster.
