The Sims 4 - English Stately Home (Finchwick Park)

Last summer, I visited a place called 'Hatchlands Park' which is in England and now owned by the National Trust. It was one of Robert Adam's early works (the interior), and I have always wanted to pay a visit! I highly recommend you go to see this beautiful house, and the treasures contained within (courtesy of the Cobbe Collection, including the worlds largest collection of keyboard instruments). Anyway, I felt that I needed to build something grand after my visit, so I took quite a lot of inspiration (ground floor only) from Hatchlands when I decided to build 'Finchwick Park'. This house belongs in Henford-on-Bagley and is the home to the fictional Earl and Countess of Henford. Like the real house, Finchwick is crammed full of antiques, and treasures I have found on my own custom content travels. The house is arranged over 4 floors with the lower ground floor reserved for service / servants areas. The principal floor comprises of 6 reception rooms including 2 drawing rooms, a large saloon (my favourite!), library, music room, and dining room! On the first floor you have 7 bedrooms with various bathrooms available, and on the second floor, a further 4 guest bedrooms, the nursery, and 8 servants bedrooms. After all of that, limited on additional space, even with a 64x64 lot - I'd have built stables, a proper servants wings, gardens etc. if I could have. I did manage a small parterre to the east of the property though! Price: approx. $3,000,000! (furnished) Hope you enjoy!
