Super Fast C02 dragster - St John's College - GoPro 1080p

Year 10 students have been busy in the technology department. Students were given the task to build a c02 dragster using the standard kit supplied. Students had to come up with their own design, but were asked to think about aerodynamics, friction, weight etc. Cars would then be raced with the fastest design taking out the title of Co2 Dragstar champion. The day of the race 30 cars lined up at the start line, two cars would race each other, the winner progressing to the next round. The cars were timed by a computer, some cars running under 1s. Some of the cars were running speeds in excess of 75km. if you blink you could miss the race. Morgan Robertson took out the year 10 c02 dragster comp with a top speed of 79km. Results were:
