Lo-Z to Hi-Z Microphone Line Matching Transformers - ToneCraft BoostMate vs...
If you fancy using older (possibly valve/tube) gear/PAs then you'll need one of these to match your modern, low impedance microphone to the high impedance inputs. Maybe you want to play your harp through a Fender Champ or experiment with guitar effects on your voice. Good to keep in your gig bag so if the PA goes down, you can finish the gig with your mic going through the guitar or keyboard (or even bass if needs must) amp! The ToneCraft BoostMate is a bit expensive and classy for this backup role, so maybe one of the others would do. Guest appearances - Fender PA100 ('78) & Fender 160PS Vocal Amplifier ('74).
