Should You Buy an EV in 2026? | Learns Car Series

Coming back from the Singapore Motorshow, it's evident that EVs are inevitable here in Singapore in 2026. With almost all the 37 brands showcasing at least one EV model, it's going to be bumper year for potential EV buyers. But with the EV rebate dropped by $10k already, and COE potentially going up some more, the decision to buy will be muddled. So to buy or not to buy in 2026? That's really the question, isn't it? Besides, we have over 40 brands selling EVs today... which is good? And more so, even legacy Japanese brands like Honda, Subaru, Suzuki, Mazda and perhaps even Toyota would be bringing in their EV in. So - Japanese, conti, Chinese? Which brand should you spend your hard-earned money on?
