Their IRL Tuco debut at Frosty Faustings XVIII was pretty sick, playing all weekend as a Duo with FLY|SonicFox, the pair won the all Duos bracket & came in 5th/6th in the main event mixed bracket which was the most stacked 2XKO tournament so far! And not long after the Duo took Texas Showdown 2026, a Challenger event on the Tuco circuit, getting through a stacked field to win it! More recently, as a Duo they won Combo Breaker 2026, the most stacked bracket so far, they finished 2nd at a very competitive LVL UP Expo 2026, and went Top 16 at EVO Japan 2026! We'll absolutely continue to see SR|INZEM more and more as 2XKO's inaugural tournament circuit rolls on through out this year, with EVO 2026 and its big time 1K+ player bracket is up next, and a good chance they'll be there Sunday on the main stage! They stepped into the arena with a 4-time EVO Top 8 finalist in Mortal Kombat and Injustice games, and while Hayatei has branched out into other non-Nether Realm developed games, they seem to be very dedicated to grinding and leveling up in 2XKO! A selection of some of their past notable results, a 5th/6th finish back to back at EVO 2017 and 2018 in Injustice 2, 5th/6th at EVO 2016 in Mortal Kombat X, also winning Canada Cup 2015 and Toryuken 5 for MK X, and they finished 7th/8th at EVO 2019 in Mortal Kombat 11 and won Viennality 2k19 also in MK 11! With their focus seemingly on 2XKO, Hayatei is a frequent participant in the big weekly online Tuco brackets and they were at Frosty Faustings XVIII 2026 but in the Winner's Final of their pool they ran into PAR|Zane. A pretty tough draw as they're one of NAs best 2XKO players and also have a winning pedigree in previous competitive games, and they lost a close set in Losers to finish Top 96. It's extremely likely we'll at least see them at UMAD later in the summer, a 2XKO Challenger Event taking place in their hometown of Montreal! A staple tournament for the anime fighting game community, and good shot we see them at some of the other Majors and Challenger events this season! And with the EVO 2026 registration made public, it looks like they'll be locked in for EVO 2026!
