Highway K Campground / Clearwater Lake / Black River / Annapolis Missouri
Highway K Campground is a Corps of Engineers Campground located a few miles upstream of Clearwater Lake on the Black River near Annapolis Missouri. The campground extends on either side of the Black River making easy to access. You may drive licensed vehicles down onto the gravel banks or the river is within easy walking distance of most of the campsites. The river is clear and cool and a great place for wading out on hot days while many choose to kayak or float the river. Jeff's Canoe Rental is located at the East entrance to the campground and offers kayak and raft rentals. Nearby you can also visit Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut-Ins State Park, or Fort Davidson State Park which is a historic Civil War site.
