The Gasconade River was a long and slow river but very cool
This is the Gasconade River, and we put in at Buzzards Bluff and floated to Wilber Allen Memorial Conservation Area. This was a nine-mile float that took us nine hours to complete. This river is a slow one, but it has some great fish. I caught several Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Longear Sunfish, and Green Sunfish.
