Your Mind Is Actively Hiding Reality From You

"The day you teach a child the name of a bird, the child will never see that bird again." — Jiddu Krishnamurti Most of our lives are spent in the realm of knowing. We look at a tree, a partner, or a sunset, and our mind instantly labels it. We think we are experiencing reality, but we are actually just experiencing our own mental concepts and descriptions of it. In this video, we explore the profound difference between "knowing" and "pure seeing." Pure seeing is naked, unlabelled awareness. It isn't a mystical state reserved for a special, enlightened few—it is a fundamental human capacity available to everyone, right now. When we lose the ability to just be without the interference of the conceptual mind, we accidentally cut ourselves off from the very things we spend our lives chasing: true abundance, love, fulfillment, and lasting happiness. Both states—the practical, conceptual mind and pure awareness—are necessary. But we have forgotten how to balance them. We will look at the mechanics of how the mind replaces reality with labels, and we will take a few moments to step out of the noise and practice entering this state of pure seeing together. Let’s put down the labels for a moment and look at what’s actually here. ✨ If this resonated with you, subscribe for more no-nonsense explorations of awareness.
