Cottonwood Mansion was the estate of William Holmes Jr. and his first wife, Mary Hoover. The Hoover family was one of the FIRST FAMILIES to settle in the area, dating all the way back to the 1790’s. The house was lived in until 1911 before it fell into DESPAIR. After sitting almost entirely ABANDONED for almost 80 years. It is now a LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM with several original furniture pieces donated by descendants of the Holmes family. So who is HAUNTING this old MANSION?
