Como é a inclusão escolar nos ESTADOS UNIDOS DA AMÉRICA - EUA
The basic education model in the United States is known as K-12 (an abbreviation for Kindergarten through 12th grade). It covers from kindergarten to the end of high school, totaling 13 years of compulsory and free education in the public school system. The main characteristic of the American system is decentralization. There is no national Ministry of Education that dictates a single curriculum for the entire country. Each of the 50 states defines its own curriculum guidelines, evaluation criteria, and graduation requirements, and local school districts (the education departments of each municipality or region) manage the day-to-day operations of the schools.
