The Riaño and Mampodre Regional Park, a place that, in addition to the scenic beauty of its surroundings, is proud to support the most emblematic European species such as bears (Ursus arctos) and wolves (Canis lupus), as well as the still not in abundance wild cats (Felis silvestris) and a great variety of ungulates typical of the high and medium mountains such as the chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra), the red deer (Cervus elaphus), the roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) or the wild boar (Sus scropha).
