I finally came to Sumatra again after 15 years. Initially, I wanted to cycle through Indonesia but since I have a lot to do this year, I decided to just backpack around the country. My first point is Medan... slowly heading towards Berastagi and finally staying in Desa Semangat Gunung before exploring Mount Sibayak, one of many volcanoes in Indonesia.
