The standoff at Ruby Ridge, 1992
On Aug. 21, 1992, after Randy Weaver failed to appear in court on charge that he sold illegal sawed-off shotguns, an 11-day standoff started at his home on Ruby Ridge near Naples, Idaho. On the second day of that standoff, Weaver's wife, Vicki, was killed by FBI sharpshooter Lon Horiuchi. (Video by Deb Kiner/PennLive.com)
