First day of our bike trip in Istria. The heat, the weight, and the road immediately make themselves felt more than expected. In this episode, we ride the first stretch of the Parenzana, starting from Trieste and entering Slovenia, arriving in Slovenia. The trip in Istria follows almost entirely the route of the famous Parenzana cycle route, which connects Poreč to Trieste, crossing the Istrian hills through tunnels, high bridges, and fairytale views.
