Quebec Premier Fréchette Announces $670M for Charles-LeMoyne Hospital – July 15, 2026

In Longueuil, Quebec, Québec Premier Christine Fréchette announces that the Québec government will invest $672 million, including $28 million from Ottawa, to expand and modernize Charles-LeMoyne Hospital in Longueuil. The project unveiled includes, among other things, the construction of a six-storey addition above the current emergency department. Following the remarks, Premier Fréchette and the dignitaries in attendance answer questions from the media.
