NEW Azimut Magellano 60 | The best Magellano yet?

The NEW Azimut Magellano 60 is the newest and smallest model in Azimut Benetti Group’s stylish pseudo-Trawler range. In this video, Jack Haines conducts an in-depth review, sea trial and walkthrough tour to see how the Magellano stacks up against rivals such as the Sirena 58 and Absolute 58 Navetta. As with its larger siblings, the 60 has styling by superyacht designer Ken Freivokh and a semi-planing dual-mode hull, designed to be stable and efficient at slower speeds but capable of over 25 knots flat out. On deck, the flybridge extends a long way aft, creating a comfortable terrace towards the stern, which is separated from a large dinette by a neatly integrated wet bar. The cockpit seating runs along the centreline, which when combined with the see-through transom creates a charming waterside dining spot. The saloon has an aft galley arrangement with a large sofa to port and a clever dining area to starboard, which aligns with the floor-to-ceiling window to deliver excellent views out over the water from the internal dining area. Below, the striking decor comes to the fore and brings to life a spacious three-cabin, three-bathroom configuration with a full-beam owner’s cabin amidships, double VIP forward and a twin to starboard. Crew are catered for in a single cabin, aft.
