Non Self Does Not Mean Nobody Is There | Understanding #Anatta

In this teaching, Ajahn Su Ron shares a simple reflection on Anatta, or Non Self, one of the deepest teachings of the Buddha. Many people wonder: If there is no permanent self, then who are we? Are we still unique? Why do others love us? Did the Buddha practice non self? And how does non self help us live with more peace? Non self does not mean we are nothing. It means we are not fixed. We are changing moment by moment, shaped by causes, conditions, choices, habits, and practice. This teaching explains how Anatta can help us let go of ego, soften attachment, love with wisdom, and stop being trapped by painful ideas of who we think we are. For this video, I am trying something a little different and leaving out the background music. Please comment and let me know if you like the teaching better with music or without music. May you all be well, happy, and peaceful.
