In Part 6 of my Turkey Vlog, I visited Ortaköy Pier, one of Istanbul's most iconic areas with beautiful views of the Bosphorus Strait. Here stands Büyük Mecidiye Camii, a beautiful mosque located right on the waterfront and a favorite photo spot for tourists. This Neo-Baroque mosque was built in the mid-19th century and is famous for its location, blending in with the panoramic view of the Bosphorus and the bridge behind it.
