Mr. Rafael Rivero Milián recounts how, after fully paying for his apartment in Cuba, housing authorities in Nuevitas seized it from him before he could leave the country. According to his testimony, the apartment he wanted to leave to his daughter ended up being given to a local official: the Municipal Director of Culture. In this interview, Rafael denounces the corruption, abuse of power, and helplessness experienced by many Cubans under the Castro dictatorship.
