Wide loads out of Leibherr, Sunderland
Filmed over seven days this video covers the transportation of crane parts from Deptford to the Sunderland docks. It was carried out by 4 trucks assisted by a police escort and two company escort vans. The ships came in the following week and were loaded up with the cranes for export to Ireland, Germany and other Leibherr plants. The first ship departed at 01:30am with two tugs assisting.
