Game boy Advance Castlevania aaand I'm completely lost and stumped?

after a long break I'm sorta back yet with castlevania here completely lost as a whole... without using cheat codes to break this game a new one and not use a walk through I wanna say the game's alright but the grinding honestly hurts this game hard. reason I feel playing this game with cheat codes and everything unlocked is the way to play and that just makes me go yikes... but anyway.. Might be calling this one in the books and find something else to record.
