Padova 2 - il caffè Pedrocchi, il Salone e le piazze

Diary of a weekend in a campervan, rediscovering Padua, our city. We wanted to do a little experiment, putting ourselves in the same situation as a campervan friend who comes from far away and wants to visit Padua, using the accommodations provided by the Municipality of Padua. In this second part of our diary, we take a wonderful tour of Padua's historical and cultural highlights, such as: the tomb of Antenor, the mythological founder of the city; the Town Hall; Palazzo Bo, the historic seat of the ancient and prestigious University; the luxurious Pedrocchi café, a doorless café with a room for those unable to pay; the Piazza della Frutta and Piazza delle Erbe, with the immense hanging hall of the Palazzo della Ragione and the historic market on the ground floor; the Jewish Ghetto; the Duomo with its magnificent Baptistery; the Hall of the Giants; and many other fascinating sights. Our Saturday tour ends here, but on Sunday morning we resume the Grand Tour, which I'll tell you about in the next video.
