Red Rock Desert Roadtrip (Sedona to Moab)

This roadtrip took us through some of the most insane landscapes in the Southwest. We drove our 4Runner from Sedona, Arizona to Moab, Utah, camping in the desert and stopping at some unreal canyon viewpoints along the way. From red rock cliffs in Sedona to the wide open desert near Hanksville and into Moab, this route is easily one of the most underrated roadtrips we’ve done. If you’re into overlanding, roadtrips, or just exploring places most people drive right past, this one is worth adding to your list. We hit a couple hidden stops along the way, found some solid desert camping spots, and got to experience just how crazy the red rock desert really is.
