After a dry summer and numerous fires in the Urals, autumn was approaching in 2022 in the Subpolar Urals. It was still quite warm during the day, but a refreshing chill was already noticeable at night. A swarm of clouds was creeping in from the northwest, eager to soak the belated tourist groups. Autumn was about to invade these jagged alpine peaks, dusting the summits with the first snow. It was a joy to be here in the last days of summer, watching autumn treading on your heels...
