For our June bilingual educational calendar, we interviewed Marita Druetta, former president of the Argentine Confederation of the Deaf and organizer of the 2007 Argentine Sign Language Summit, which marked the beginning of the struggle for the legal recognition of Argentine Sign Language (LSA) as a language and linguistic and cultural heritage of the deaf community in our country.
