Manjón, a writer and member of the Spanish Institute of Geopolitics, stated that the capture of Konstantinovka by Russian forces marks the final phase of the conflict in Donbas, paving the way for the subsequent advance toward Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. According to the analyst, Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory have hardened the will to resist among Moscow's public opinion, invalidating any attempt at political pacification and forcing the Kremlin into a relentless stimulus-response strategy. He also emphasized that Russia's industrial and military self-sufficiency allows it to sustain a prolonged conflict, the tactical objective of which is not the rapid capture of territory, but rather the demographic and material collapse of the Ukrainian state. For his part, Aníbal González dismissed the viability of a peace agreement promoted by Donald Trump, calling his claims baseless electoral rhetoric due to the absolute incompatibility of the interests at stake. González highlighted Poland's strategic distancing from the government in Kyiv, motivated by ideological and historical differences, which deprives Ukraine of one of its main logistical support bases on the European continent.
