Gelato al CARAMELLO SALATO – Gelato fatto in casa senza gelatiera – Solo 3 ingredienti

INGREDIENTS Sugar: 200 g Water: 30 ml Cream: 500 ml Salt: 2.5 g (half a teaspoon) In a tall saucepan, combine the water and sugar and stir well. Heat over low heat without stirring. When the sugar begins to caramelize, begin stirring until it reaches the desired color. Begin stirring only after the sugar has changed color. Slowly add 250 ml of cream and stir. Add the salt, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes. It should be thick, but not too thick, because it will thicken further as it cools. After 2 minutes, turn off the heat and let it cool completely. Lightly whip 250 ml of cream. Add the salted caramel and stir. Place in a container and freeze for a few hours.
