INTERRUPT RACISM™ Speaker Series - Friday, June 5, 2026 Join members of the ROC Community Table for an engaging conversation about their thought paper, "Claiming a Seat at the Table: A New Dream for Monroe County." The discussion will explore the group’s ongoing meetings with elected officials to better understand local responses to recent federal policy changes. They will also discuss their expectations for local action and accountability, and plans to rebuild a stronger, more equitable Monroe County. Topics include DEI, education, environmental justice, healthcare, homelessness, immigration, and other issues shaping the future of our community. The Urban League of Rochester is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization dedicated to educating citizens so they can make informed decisions while working to defend democracy and uphold free speech as a cornerstone of democratic society. We provide a safe space for meaningful and difficult conversations, ensuring respectful dialogue for all participants.
