What have I done now? My new-to-me Td5 Defender 90
With plans to take the bobtail Disco off the road in early next year and trailer it to some proper off road sites, it was time to get something that can tow and travel a bit further. It also needed to handle green lane duties without getting stuck and without looking too tatty if a bit of mud got into it. I considered Discovery 4s and L322 Range Rovers, both of which I would like to own and they would both suffer from being used on scratchy green lanes and from mud inside. They're also still depreciating and have lots of known issues due to their complexity. Weirdly, the Defender seemed like the right option.
