Investimento privado português deve ter expressão no Corredor do Lobito, defende ministro

Angolan Minister of Transport Ricardo Viegas d'Abreu argued on Tuesday that trade relations between Angola and Portugal should be supported by Portuguese private investment in the African country, possibly in the Lobito Corridor. The statement was made at the "Doing Business Angola 2024" event in Lisbon. "Relations between Angola and Portugal should be supported by Portuguese private investment in Angola, for example in the Lobito Corridor. This is something that can be discussed during the next visit of the Portuguese government to Luanda. We have thirty years of history in this business journey with Portugal," the minister highlighted. The transport sector was a particular focus of the "Doing Business Angola 2024" event, which took place on Tuesday in Lisbon and was a joint organization of JE and Forbes Lusophone Africa. The potential of major infrastructure such as Luanda International Airport and the Lobito Corridor was analyzed by experts at this edition.
