Matt’s always said NO to WIGSS……….Lets see why this WIGSS different In the box you’ve got the WIGSS (Wearable Immersive Gaming Speaker System, USB charging cable and 3.5mm audio jack. The speaker system is surprisingly lightweight, weighing only 8.6 ounces, barely noticeable when wearing. The ergonomic design allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulders for long periods of time, avoiding the discomfort and pressure of headphones. Dual, high-performance noise-cancelling microphones built into the ends of the speaker allows your voice to be picked up clearly, despite all the sound going on around you. Two inbuilt speakers on either side point directly at your ears to create a unique spatial experience when playing certain games. Panasonic calls it MAGESS technology or Majestic Augmented Gaming Environment Sound System technology and it’s got a few surprising features. One tap on the Sound button switches between three gaming modes, or EQ for cinema and music. The first is an RPG mode optimized for the Final Fantasy 14 game… The second is optimized for first person shooters so you can really hear enemy gunfire… And finally, voice mode allows you to trash talk with the best of them. So, what do we like about the Panasonic SoundSlayer Wearable Gaming Speaker? Lightweight and comfortable, we love how effortless it is to wear this thing. It’s perfect for long gaming sessions - compared to earbuds or gaming headsets. We also love the sound. Gaming really comes alive with clear audio and haptic bass that you really feel and hear at the same time. The microphone audio was surprisingly not muddied by the speaker volume either. At full volume, it wasn’t nearly as distracting to people in the same room, and we were still able to hear what’s going on around us.
