Waterproofing Our Van Shower with Tanking (Recirculating Shower Part 2) | Transit Van Conversion E30

This time we're waterproofing our van shower using the Everbuild wet room tanking kit! Our campervan shower is a very custom build to fit the space, which means we're not using a campervan shower tray and instead decided to build a custom wet room in the van. 🚿 The wet room tanking kit is a 3 step process that has a tanking liquid, tanking tape, and tanking membrane, and it was nice to have a project which is mostly just following instructions for a change! And after spending so long making sure water doesn't get into the van, it was a bit strange to get the hose and spray it straight into the shower at the end to test it 😀 Next time we'll be adding some white PVC panels to the shower walls, and some Altro Pisces wet room flooring to make it actually look like a shower and be another waterproof layer, but it's nice to have the peace of mind that it should be watertight just from the tanking.
