Irish Jig Scottish dancing competition at the 2024 Braemar Gathering Highland Games in Scotland

Competitors in the Irish Jig dance heats, held during the 2024 Braemar Gathering Highland Games in Scotland. This was on Saturday 7th September 2024 at the home of the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games Centre. This was at the end of the Games as people were leaving the Games. The Irish Jig is one of the Scottish National Dances for competitions and intended as a parody of the infamous Irish temper; an energetic dance featuring lots of fist shaking and skirt flouncing among female competitors.
