In early 1947, a young Bedouin from the Ta'amireh tribe, Muhammid Ahmed el-Hamed, nicknamed edh-Dhib ("the wolf"), discovered a cave while searching for his lost flock. He entered the first cave, which contained 2,000-year-old scrolls. The Ta'amireh people visited the cave and brought the scrolls to their camp. The scrolls were shown to Mar Samuel at the Monastery of Saint Mark in April 1947, and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls was subsequently announced. The location of the cave was not announced until 18 months later, but eventually, joint research was conducted on the cave under the leadership of Roland de Vaux and Gerald Lankester Harding. 👉 https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gua-gua... Caesarea Maritima is one of Israel's most famous archaeological sites. Its ruins are located by the seashore of Israel, about halfway between Tel Aviv and Haifa. It is the site of one of the most important cities in the Roman World, the capital of the Roman province of Judea. The city was founded between 22 and 10 BC by Herod the Great (37-4 BC) as an urban center and harbor on the site of the earlier Straton's Tower. Caesarea was populated through the late Roman and Byzantine eras. Today, the site is a large and beautiful national park and a fascinating place to visit while exploring the Holy Land. 👉 https://followinghadrian.com/2015/01/...
