Tompall and the Glaser Brothers Medley
The idea for this medley came back in the early 60's when the brothers were working a small club in Toronto. The people in the club were more interested in drinking than listening to music, and they were getting absolutely no response when they played their own songs. So Tompall decided to start playing every song he knew one after another with no break in between -- as they wouldn't know the difference. When they would come to a high part in the song that Jim knew Tompall couldn't hit, he would step in and sing it. They finished the songs that way, constantly trading off the microphone with Chuck coming in on the harmonies, and the crowd loved it. After that night, they worked up this medley and it has always been a crowd favorite.
