Amstrad CPC 6128 - RS-232 Communications
In this video I take a look at an Amstrad RS232 expansion by Pace. I do a brief teardown and describe the essential parts in the RS-232 exansion hardware. We take a look at the manual and Telecom Gold MicroLink documentation. Then I display the included ROM software (Viewdata, Honeyview, and terminal programs). Finally, we use a DMM, logic analyser, and finally a PuTTY terminal to see if we can transmit data from the Amstrad CPC to the Notebook computer. In this video I reference: the CPC Wiki: http://www.cpcwiki.eu The first video in the Amstrad series is here: • Amstrad CPC 6128 - Hardware & BASIC Software Patreon link: / nfm
