Like a shadow that becomes clearer as the light grows brighter, the more you see how weak, how dependent, and how changeable your nature is, the clearer your heart's vision becomes, realizing that there is a Being Who is All-Perfect, All-Eternal, and All-Sufficient, who sustains all life with immeasurable love. Knowledge is not the pinnacle where you feel you have grasped all the secrets. Rather, it is there that you increasingly sense the vastness of His ocean of grace, while your knowledge is but a mere drop in the ocean. It is the stage where you stop asking "why," because your heart is filled with confidence that everything that comes from His hand contains the most beautiful goodness. You no longer demand explanations, for you have completely surrendered to a wisdom that far surpasses your intellect. Those who understand the heart say that the pinnacle of this knowledge is when you forget yourself, not because you disappear, but because your heart's entire attention is completely focused on the One you know. You no longer see yourself as a separate entity, but rather realize that your existence is merely a wandering trust, always returning to its original source. At that moment, you realize that you were never truly separated from Him; only a veil of neglect had obscured your vision. So, knowledge is truly the journey home. Don't walk away to look for something far away, but rather walk into the depths of your own heart, clearing away the dust that has accumulated, until you finally find that the God you are looking for is always with you, closer than your own jugular vein.
