Koolrabi, Bieten én 4,1 kg Aardappelen | Tuinagenda Eind Juni

In this episode of the 2026 Garden Agenda, we look at what needs to be done in the vegetable garden at the end of June. We walk through the garden and see which crops can be sown, planted, and harvested. I also show how my cooking season runs parallel to the gardening season: I cook with whatever the garden has available at that moment. During the tour, I harvest a kohlrabi and a few beets, and we look at various crops that are currently ready for harvest. Naturally, we also look at crops that still need a bit more time. The highlight of this episode is undoubtedly the potato harvest. From just three 30 x 30 cm plots, I get no less than 4.1 kilograms of potatoes. Afterwards, we weigh the entire harvest and compare it to that of 2024 using infographics. As always, not a single piece of land remains unused. Immediately after the potato harvest, I plant leeks as a follow-up crop so that the available space remains optimally utilized. Finally, I have a question for other vegetable gardeners.
