Food for Thought: Addressing Occupational Violence in Grocery Stores in the Saint Paul Metropolitan Area Sunniva presented on the research she did with UFCW Local 1189 on metro area grocery store workers' experiences with occupational violence. Sunniva and her co-intern, Victoria Valentina, completed this research as part of the Summer 2024 cohort of the Occupational Health Internship Program, which is designed to link the skills and interests of students with the needs of workers employed in an underserved or high-hazard job.
