He speaks candidly about his criminal past and how he drastically turned his life around. In his autobiography, "Jantje O.", he takes you on his journey from young street fighter to kickboxing champion, and the hard lessons he learned along the way. Today, Jan is an inspiration to young people. He runs his own gym, where he trains young people and teaches them to find their way through sport, away from wrong choices.
