(This video is of the East Building) The 1st and 3rd floors are connected, so if you are in the West Building and want to go to the public bath, you will need to change elevators on the 3rd floor. Approximately 10 minutes on foot from JR Hakodate Station, passing by Hakodate Morning Market. (A taxi ride would cost around 600 yen) The nearest tram stop is "City Hall Station". Hakodate Bay Area is also within walking distance. To get to Mount Hakodate, you can take a Hakodate Bus route bus to the ropeway station (280 yen one way), take a mountain bus to the summit (700 yen one way), or take a guided sightseeing tour to the summit (2000 yen round trip). You can also choose to take a taxi.
