We made our way through the rough mountain stream, and beyond the dilapidated old weir, a beautiful mountain landscape unfolded before us, as if the air had suddenly changed. Only Yamato char inhabited this stream. We enjoyed fishing upstream, appreciating the quiet flow characteristic of Kiso and the unique presence of the fish.
